Becoming a mother is a profound transition, one that deserves calm, compassionate support.
Little Bluebird Doula Care helps families navigate the early weeks of postpartum with gentle care, evidence-based guidance, and an open heart.
Whether you’re looking for help with newborn care, emotional recovery, meal prep, nursery organization or simply a reassuring presence at home, you don’t have to do this alone.

Preparing for postpartum starts well before birth. We can work together to help you build a calm, organized, supported home so you can rest, recover, and bond.

Preparing older siblings: phrases and activities to include them.
Postpartum care plan: outline needs for rest, recovery, and emotional support.
Expectations & boundaries: guide open communication with family.

Baby supplies & registry: focus on what you truly need.
Gentle routines: plan basic feeding, sleep, and rest patterns.
Adding another child to your family is always a big transition. It can be hard to imagine how you’ll find time and energy for another tiny person when you’re already so busy. Feelings of guilt or worry about giving each child enough attention are completely normal.
These challenges can feel even more intense if you already have a high-needs or neurodivergent child at home. With extensive experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and other developmental differences, I can help you prepare for this transition in ways that support your entire family.
Even if your child does not have a formal diagnosis, every child experiences some adjustment when a new baby arrives. Establishing structure and support ahead of time can make the transition smoother for everyone.

meet your doula
My name is Katie Greble, I am a board certified art therapist and postpartum doula with a deep passion for supporting mothers and their families during the transformative postpartum period.
After becoming a mother myself and walking alongside friends as they stepped into parenthood, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges this season can bring. Until you experience it, there is no way to really prepare for the exhaustion, the expectations, and the lack of community support that so many families face. My goal is to be the kind of support every new mother deserves during this sacred and tender time.
With a Master’s degree and Board Certification in Art Therapy, I bring a unique blend of therapeutic insight and creative approaches to my work. My background also includes extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and their families, ensuring each person feels understood and supported in their individual journey. Don’t worry, although the tools I have will be useful in many situations, I will not make you do therapy when in a doula role. The postpartum period is not the time to dig up your trauma. However, I will be much more likely to spot signs of Postpartum Depression/anxiety/psychosis should they arise, and will be prepared with the resources to help.
My practice is grounded in principles of inclusivity, non-discrimination, and respect for all families. I believe every parent deserves compassionate care and the chance to feel confident, seen, and restored as they grow into new rhythms of parenthood. It is an honor to share this time with a new family.
Personally, I love to laugh and find the silliness in whatever this life throws at me. I love reading, cooking making art, collecting houseplants to add to my jungle, music, traveling, and volunteering. I am an extravert by nature and I’ve been known to be able to talk to anyone, however quiet time is a must for recharging. I truly love hanging out with my kids, I think their world is so interesting and they help me slow down to enjoy the little things in life.

Before beginning my journey to become a doula, I worked for more than 10 years in counseling, family therapy, behavioral therapy, and clinical leadership roles, including time at The Center for Autism and Indian Creek Foundation. Through this work, I developed a deep respect for each family’s unique journey and a passion for nurturing emotional wellness at every stage of life. I love helping neurodivergent people understand their own needs and learn to self advocate in the world.
